Welcome Annisa Dhini Septi Kinasih to the Applied Analysis group!
Annisa will start on November 1st, 2021 a four months internship concerning the mathematical modeling and data analysis of opinion formation. The main target is the study of the recent raise of right and left wings populist parties in the European political spectrum.
Call for industrial problems (MiMM day 2021)
CALL for Industrial Problems (1page):
“Mathematics with Industry Day” (MiMM Day 2021) will take place for the 5th time in a row at Karlstad University (Sweden) on Dec. 15, 2021.
We are asking potentially interested companies to send in their problem suggestions (asap, preferably before Nov. 1st, 2021, just contact me for further details).
Teams of applied mathematicians (“young and old” cca. 8-10 persons/team) will be attacking with mathematical tools selected industrial questions during 1 day.
