I am happy to report a successful Mathematics with Industry day (Dec 15, 2020, Karlstad, Sweden). We solved one of the industrial problems and made progress on the other two. Approximately 35 persons were involved in this adventure, which took place via zoom.

We have moved from Folketshus, Skoghall, to the nice Hammarö Arena. We play chess in the big conference room each Wednesday between 18h15 and 21h.

During 9-10 December 2017 an international double chess tournament will take place in Karlstad!!!
It is about the ” KADETTLANDSKAMP SVERIGE – NORGE ” (closed, meant for the top young players from Sweden and Norway) as well as the ” UNIONSKAMPEN” – an open tournament for teams. Check the conditions for participation at http://www.schack.se
Victor has become open Dutch chess champion under 14, while Felix is on a shared 4th place under 12. Yay!
